The power of Language it's an interesting way to explain how language it’s capable of drive our lives, as Mark Pagel said, we cannot say some words or phrases because there are inadequate. In fact, with language we are everything, but only if you understand the language. Today is easier learn some other language because we have tools like internet that can help us, but it still being inaccessible for some other people. On the other hand about social learning as social theft, i think is true, since our ancestors, learn about watching and imitating, and then choose the best one of the ideas is feasible until now, and that’s is how we learn from each other too.

I agree and disagree with the “one world, one language” idea, for one side it’s true because English is the universal language and thank to that we can hypothetically, communicate between us but for other side, many of the people don’t know any other language than their own language, as example some tribes or cultures may not know the language of their own country and less will they know English.

About my language i think it’s great because on Latin America most of the countries speak Spanish so is easier for us to communicate, but also i think it will be good learn and understand some others languages apart from English so our our conception of languages can be broad.
